About Us

Every tapri deserves to be found

India runs on its street vendors. From the corner chai tapri that opens before sunrise to the late-night maggi and omelette cart, these stalls feed millions every day — yet most of them live only in the memory of the neighbourhoods around them. Find My Tapri exists to put them on the map.

Why we built Find My Tapri

Big directories ignore the unorganized street food economy. A cart has no shopfront, no website and no listing — it has regulars. We wanted a free, community-powered map that answers the questions people actually ask: Is the chai stall open right now? Where is the nearest golgappa cart? Which sutta stall stays open past midnight?

Instead of a static directory, Find My Tapri is alive. Status is confirmed by the people standing in front of the stall, so the map reflects reality today, not last year.

What you can do here

  • Explore chai tapris, sutta stalls, golgappa carts and street food near you on a live map.
  • See what is genuinely open right now, based on community check-ins.
  • Add a stall you love in seconds — drop a pin, pick a category, done.
  • Get directions straight from the map to the exact corner.

Our values

Community first

Locals know their streets best. The map is built and kept accurate by the people who use it.

Free forever

Finding a cup of chai should never cost anything. The map is free to use and free to contribute to.

Privacy respected

We use your location only to show nearby stalls. Read our privacy policy.

For the vendors

Greater visibility means more footfall for the smallest businesses on the street.

Where we are

Find My Tapri started in Bengaluru, where the tapri culture is a way of life, and is growing city by city as the community adds stalls. Every pin you drop brings a new street onto the map.
